3/10 Charlton (H) 0 - 0 31,838 1st Another home draw but we extend on 3rd place with Bristol Rovers losing. 27 points from 33, a good start to the season.
6/10 Darlington (H) 2 - 1 8,429 JPT R2 Tresor and Robinson with the all the goals in the first half
19/10 Norwich City (H) 2 - 1 19,912 1st A good game and a very late winner, Monday night, its on TV and we get a bigger gate than Carlisle at home?
24/10 Millwall (A) 1 - 2 14,165 1st The unbeaten run had to end sometime, however we are still top with a game in hand.
27/10 Bristol Rovers (A) 4 - 0 11,448 1st Beckford with 2, Kandol and Vokes make for a great away win.
Just a personal thought but it shows how much Leeds are disliked by the football fraternity, we go thirteen games undefeated and the team that beats us gets the Sky Sports performance of the week award, how about the 4-0 against Bristol rovers, that deserves the performance of the week award, not Millwall.
But what does not kill us makes us stronger, Super, Super Leeds, Super Leeds United
31/10 Yeovil Town (H) 4 - 0 24,482 1st 7 points clear at the top, a good place to be. Beckford, Kandol, Bradley and Gradel with the goals
7/11 Oldham (A) 2 - 0 5,552 FAC R1 Steady performance limited Oldham to very few chances, great goal by Johnny Howson
10/11 Grimsby Town (H) 3 - 1 10,430 JPT QF  Northern Good goal by Sweeny for Grimsby, but a steady performance by Leeds did the business.
21/11 Brighton (A) 3 - 0 7,615 1st Snodgrass, Kilkenny and Beckford with the goals, six points clear of second place and a game in hand.
24/11 Orient (H) 1 - 0 19,744 1st A very late goal gave Leeds 3 undeserved points, but three points is three points and we are top, a 6 point lead and a game in hand
29/11 Kettering (A) 1 - 1 4,837 FAC R2 At least we are still in the Cup and its Mancscum away if we win. Fergie, Fergie what's the score.
1/12 Oldham (A) 2 - 0 7,793 1st Another away win at Oldham and now 10 points above 3rd place with a game in hand. Becchio and Kilkenny with the goals
5/12 Huddersfield (H) 2 - 2 36,723 1st 7 points clear, a game in hand, what will happen this afternoon
8/12 Kettering (H) 5 - 1 10,670 FAC R2 Replay 4 goals in the last 15 minutes of extra time were enough. Grella super sub with 2.
12/12 Brentford (A) 0 - 0 9,031 1st  For great stats here, STATS BY CLUB

2 Points clear but more importantly 8 from 3rd place and a game in hand

15/12 Accrington Stanley (H) 2 - 0 12,696 JPT SF
Northern
The first time we have played Accrington in any competition.
19/12 Southampton (H) 1 - 0 25,948 1st A very valuable 3 points with Norwich winning and Charlton with a draw.
26/12 Hartlepool (H) 3 - 1 30,151 1st Beckford with 2 and Becchio for all 3 points
28/12 Stockport (A) 4 - 2 7,768 1st 6 Goals, 7 Bookings, 28 Fouls, 11 Corners, and 9 minutes of additional time played ,a busy referee. But its 3 away points and half way through the season.
It's half way through the season and what a first half it has been, P23, W17, D5, L1 Pts 56. Over the last 3 seasons 82, 85 and 89 points have been enough for 2nd place and promotion, which could mean that another 12 wins from the next 23 games could give us 90 points. Nice statistics.
3/1 Manchester United (A) 1 - 0 74,526 FAC R3 Super, Super Leeds, Super Leeds United, what a match, what a result.
9/1 Wycombe (H) 1 - 1 24,383 1st Points dropped but still 9 points clear of 3rd place. J Howson with an early goal.
16/1 Exeter (A) 0 - 2 8,549 1st Only our second loss this season, still 3 points clear and a game in hand
19/1 Carlisle (H) 1 - 2 13,011 JPT 1st Leg
Northern
Final
Not good, but there is always the second leg and we have been here before.
23/1 Tottenham (A)  2 - 2  35,750 FAC R4 What a game, a tale of two penalties, one scored and one missed. We held our own and were the better side in patches.
26/1 Swindon (A) 0 - 3 14,508 2nd Two games in hand but it gives our next game more importance, a must win.
30/1 Colchester (H) 2 - 0 23,425 2nd JB with two goals and Charlton dropping points make for a good day.
3/2 Tottenham (H) 1 - 3 37,704 FAC R4
Replay
A good first half but we did not play as well in the second, a good Cup run comes to an end.
6/2 Hartlepool (A) 2 - 2 5,115 2nd A last minute equalizer denies us 3 points, but with Norwich loosing and Charlton dropping points it is a point gained.
9/2 Carlisle (A) 3 - 2 9,430 JPT 2nd Leg
Northern
Final
A good win but a loss on penalties, Carlisle with two lucky goals take them to Wembley for the final.
13/2 Orient (A) 1 - 1 8,013 2nd Any point away is a good point although if the stats are correct we should have taken all the points
16/2 Walsall (H) 1 - 2 18,981 2nd Colchester getting close but if we can put a couple of wins together things will look better.
20/2 Brighton (H) 1 - 1 24,120 2nd A late goal by Snodgrass salvages a point, with Norwich losing at home. Colchester and the rest of the following pack are closing in. We need to start winning soon.
23/2 Oldham (H) 2 - 0 17,635 2nd Becchio with 2 for all the points, can we keep winning.
27/2 Huddersfield (A) 2 - 2 21,764 2nd A good result away at Huddersfield, Howson and Becchio with the goals
6/3 Brentford (H) 1 - 1 25,445 2nd Another 2 points dropped at home, we need to start winning again.
9/3 Tranmere (A) 4 - 1 8,346 2nd A good away win and with Swindon dropping points a good night.
13/3 Southampton (A) 0 - 1 30,794 2nd Highest league away crowd this season,  With Charlton & Colchester loosing as well not a complete disaster.
10 Games remaining and realistically we need to win 7, however as our main rivals play each other before the end of the season this number may drop, 5 home games are a must and a couple of away wins would help the cause. One more win and there will be only 12/23 teams that can catch us.
22/3 Millwall (H) 0 - 2 21,348 2nd Not good, but we are still second.
27/3 Norwich (A) 0 - 1 25,445 2nd Still second by 1 goal, keep the faith is all we can do for the moment until we start to win again. A late goal again cost us dearly
3/4 Swindon (H) 0 - 3 27,881 4th That is 4 games lost in a row, played well in first half but heads dropped in the second, where do we go from here.
5/4 Yeovil (A) 2 - 1 6,308 4th A win at last, Naylor with 2 goals
10/4 Southend (H) 2 - 0 21,650 3rd Another win and up a place, 2 away games to come. Goal difference could be a problem, we need a big win soon.
13/4 Carlisle (A) 3 - 1 8,728 2nd A very good away win, up to second and Becchio & Gradel with the goals. Other results going our way also.
17/4 Gillingham (A) 2 - 3 9,649 2nd A slip up but with Charlton and Millwall losing the outcome is in our hands, if we win the next three games we are promoted
24/4 Milton Keynes (H) 4 - 1 25,964 2nd A good home win and an improving goal difference, 2 more wins and we are up.
1/5 Charlton (A) 0 - 1 23,198 2nd Nothing changes, if we win our last game we are promoted
8/5 Bristol Rovers (H) 2 - 1 38,234 2nd What a day, up we go
