We have agreed with Leeds United to have a Leeds on the Road event on the 28th April at The Canal House on Canal Street in the centre of Nottingham. I am still awaiting final confirmation but at the moment Mick Doyle plus one or more 1st teamers will be in attendance with Allan Clarke ( Nottingham Whites President) Peter Lorimer and possibly Eddie Gray ( confirmation by the weekend) plus other Leeds United personnel.

This will be an informal event of a pea and pie (plus desert) supper there will be opportunity to buy LUFC merchandise and the usual raffle and auction of a signed shirt and ball any contributions towards the raffle will be greatly received.

Admission will be by ticket only at a cost of £12.50 per person. These will be available to affiliated members of Nottingham Whites only who will be allowed to purchase a ticket for one guest only. We have already sold several tickets in advance at last nights monthly meeting and advise members wishing to attend to contact myself as soon as possible with payment. Tickets surplus to requirement will be allocated to previous members on a 1st come 1st served waiting list.

Final details of what promises to be a fantastic evening will be published on the tickets.

Message from our chairman (Rich)

We have 91+ paid up members, 160 on the email list and 2,000 visits to the website, single occupancy cars are still passing our coach on the motorway on the way to Leeds. Come and join us, there is a seat and a welcome every week. For members of Nottingham Whites its £ 10 Adults and £ 5 Juniors, non members £ 13 Adults.

New members are joining and travelling weekly, our coach is now running a modest profit, new members are most welcome, I hope to see meeting attendances rising in the second half of the season. Nottingham is full of LEEDS.

We leave the ground very soon after the final whistle, the coach is on the motorway and on its way home before most cars have got in the queue to leave the car park.

We need more input from the members for the website, any photo's, stories about matches or players, in fact anything that could be interesting to other members. Please email to me and I will include anything interesting, but no pictures of Rich Sturman mooning out of the bus window, I have them already, thanks
